Sometimes, especially when new in Lund, it is difficult to choose what to do. We took the task upon us to make things easier for you! Check out our suggestions below.

Gym Class Heroes
These crazy New Yorkers who are usually found among the hottest tracks of the Billboard 100 are here and there are still tickets on sale! Just across the bridge in Amager Bio (see here). You can easily get there- in 20 minutes from Kastrup Lufthavn by Metro.

Lund Nation – Penthouse
Want to start partying? Then check out the Penthouse of Lunds Nation (see here). From this place you can look out over Lund while enjoying one (or many more) nice drink(s). Tickets are 50 kroner and doors open at 22.00 so be there on time. Also, do not forget your studentlund card!
Friday - 20 January 2012
Hallands Nation Club – food, pub, club
Hallands (see here) doors open at 19.00 and if you want to have food there (only 45 kroner for main dish + dessert) we advise you to get there early as there will be a line. Once in for dinner you do not have to pay the entrance (60 kroner) for the club. So get ready to party and go to Hallands!!

Herkules bar
This bar is located at Stortorget at the heart of Lund and as it is not a nation many natives come here for the nice atmosphere and music. As it is a more classy place the prices are higher as well (just to warn you) and you might have to pay entrance. But.. Herkules (see here) opens at 22.00 and 2 DJ’s will play till 3.00!

Ariman
One the well established, alternative evening ventures you still are able to afford even with smaller budget. Here you can find natives as well as internationals and get a drink from a handsome young version of Wolverine himself. Cozy atmosphere and interesting people guaranteed! (for more see here).

ESN Party @ VG Nation
Time for the next big ESN Party – hosted by VG nation (see here)! With 60 sek tickets (without ESN discount) it’s not more expensive than a typical nation club. So people- if you haven’t met the new students or just missed out on your weekly party-volume – join us @VG’s!
Sunday - 22 January 2012
St.Jakobs Bakery
Looking for a nice place to have coffee and some delicious swedish pastries while talking about all the fun, exiting or embarrassing stories of this party weekend? St.Jakobs (see here) is a very cute and unique café / stone oven bakery right in the city center. Be sure to get there soon- they are only open until 15:00 and their pastries are just too good!!!

Lazy Sunday Shopping @ Nova Lund (see here).
There is this one thing you planned on buying for the whole week and never could make time for it? Don’t worry, there is no break for shopping in Sweden- check out the mall near Vildanden; open every weekday from 10 to 20 and Sunday from 11 to 17 o’clock. Have fun hunting some “REA” !!
