The blog that you need to follow |
So, student life is more than just drinking and partying in Lund. This week, I’m doing exactly the same…… But in Chamrousse, France. It is a classic skiing holiday as we know it, skiing from 9 to 5, 120cm of snow, sunny, large “Kronenbourg” branded beers, afterski with music which was already outdated in 1998, judging hot boarder girls only on the blondness of their mandatory pigtails as the skiclothes makes it impossible to judge the actual shapes of their bodies. 10 days in france… This is my story. Day 2: Ok, the busride SUCKED! 20 hours sitting in akward positions with every muscle in your body screaming for you to change position again - I got 4 hours of sleep. The only upside was that I got to see the first two episodes of 5th season of Californication (for those of you who is not following this series, you need to do something about that!). Anyway, we arrived in chamrousse and I am now going to share the first 3 things I learned about this place. 1) The most popular sandwich is called “the American” and contains fries (there is actually fries IN the sandwich, I am not kidding! ..and I’m not totally opposed to the idea either:)) 2) French people do not know or do not want to speak any other language than french (which makes it hard for me to order beer/hit on girls at the afterski place) 3) I WANT MOUNTAINS IN DENMARK So, this was the first part of my blog from France, I’m gonna share some photos and video with you in the next couple of days so stay tuned on EverdayLund. - L
