So it’s sunday, and you are probably hungover again aren’t you? Well of course you are. To help you get rid of this nasty feeling and nurture you back to fitness, we devised 2 very different ways to do that.
The Lazy Boy
Duration: 12 hours at least
Our personal favorite and probably the most used method.
Choice of drinks:Anything you want my friend. Soda, juice, smoothies, just drink a lot of it, then you’ll be fine.
Choice of food: Burgers, fries, kebab, hotdogs, pizza. A hangover is a get-out-of-jail-free-card to eat whatever you want as long as it contains fat and salt.
Choice of movie: You don’t wanna be thinking too much, so an easily digestive comedy or action movie is the best choice. Preferable something you have watched several times before, so you can drift of to sleep now and then and still follow when you wake up. Die Hard or anything with Adam Sandler perhaps?
Choice of additional activity: besides going to your local pizza place, no activity is required other than sleeping.
Duration: 5-6 hours
The sportsman is used in extreme occasions if you are on a tight schedule, and need to be fresh later that evening (for yet another party perhaps?)
Choice of drinks:Saltwater. It’s nasty but salt helps bind the water to your body. Drink at least 4-5 litres. Can be substituted with an energy drink like gatorade.
Choice of food: Vitamins, fibres, proteins, carbohydrates. Salad, eggs and a fruit smoothie.
Choice of movie: We are looking for a movie that sharpens your mind. Fast-forward to the scene in Matrix with the architect and try to understand what the fuck he is talking about.
Choice of additional activity: Go jogging, swimming, hiking or visit the gym. Sweat the alcohol out. It’s uncomfortable yes, but it’s good for you.
